What does ISO 17025 require for measurement uncertainty?

ISO 17025:2017 §7.6 requires laboratories to identify contributions to measurement uncertainty and evaluate it for all calibration activities. The evaluation must follow the GUM approach — identifying all significant uncertainty sources, evaluating them as Type A or Type B, and expressing the result as an expanded uncertainty U at a stated coverage factor k.
